Air Conditioning bullets

The term Air Conditioning refers to the cooling and dehumidification of indoor air for thermal comfort. The name is now a generally used term for any form of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditiong (HVAC) equipment or any appliance or mechanism designed to stabilise the air temperature and humidity.

When you buy an Air Conditioning system from Kitchen Air you can be sure you are getting the latest technology, hard wearing parts and unrivalled support.

Air Conditioning works by reducing the humidity of the air through the system, the evaporator coil condenses water vapour which is drained off then the air is re-introduced. The comfort air conditioner is designed to create a 40% to 60% relative humidity in the room.

It is very important that an air conditioning system is regularly maintained as they can promote the growth and distribution of microorganisms. Certain bacteria such as Legionella pneumophila (Legionnaires' disease) can be a risk.

Kitchen Air can service and maintain your system please see our maintenance page.
